Policies to help our customers relax and rejuvenate

The following are policies of the Thai Wellness Massage to ensure our customers have a beneficial and wonderful experience when visiting our facilities.

Reservations

To help you get your desired appointments, please schedule them as far in advance as possible to ensure they're available. A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. TWM Gift Cards/Certificates may also be used in place of a credit card to hold your appointment. We retain this information as part of our cancellation policies and charge your account only as needed on the date of your scheduled service. I've shared the details of our cancellation policy below.
*Please notify the receptionist of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.
Online Reservation Request

Online reservation requests are reviewed during business hours and are not guaranteed until confirmed by our team. Confirmation will be sent via text and/or email once approved, and when required, after the deposit is received.

Deposit for Reservation
Thai Wellness Massage reserves the right to request a $50 deposit per person for each reservation, payable by credit card. The $50 deposit can be used to pay for services with a credit card. Or, the $50 deposit on the credit card will be credited back to the customer's credit card if the customer pays in cash.

Deposit Amounts:

  • $100 deposit — Required for Couple's Massage (secures two therapists)
  • $50 deposit — Required for all new customers
  • $50 deposit — Required for existing clients who have a prior no-show or late cancellation on record (applies to all future bookings)

Deposit Payment Rules:

  • Deposits must be paid within 30 minutes of the invoice being sent, or the time slot may be released to another client.
  • Payment can be made via: email invoice (for phone bookings), the online booking platform, or in-person by cash or credit card.
  • Deposits are applied toward the cost of your service when you attend your appointment.
  • Deposits are forfeited in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.
A customer has the right to refuse to provide a credit card for this deposit, and Thai Wellness Massage has the right to refuse the customer's reservation request.
To qualify for the cash deal promotions, payment must be made in cash for the services rendered. No partial payment by credit card will be allowed for the Cash Deal Promotions. Partial payment by credit card will void the Cash Deal Promotion, and the full price will be charged to the credit card.
Cancellation Policy and Fees

Your appointment time is yours. To avoid fees, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance by calling the office.

  • Rescheduling with less than 4 hours' notice before your appointment: your deposit will be forfeited

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice): $50 fee ($30 for 30-minute sessions)

  • No-shows (no notice at all): Charged the full service price


Thank you for respecting our therapists' time. If you miss your appointment, our staff may have already traveled in specifically for you.

Pregnancy / Prenatal Massage

Eligibility

Thai Wellness Massage offers prenatal massage services to clients who have completed at least 4 months (16 weeks) of pregnancy.


Booking Requirements

When scheduling a prenatal massage, you must inform us at the time of booking that you are pregnant.

  • If we are notified of your pregnancy upon arrival and were not informed at the time of booking, Thai Wellness Massage reserves the right to refuse service, as we will not have had the opportunity to plan appropriate staffing for your care

  • In the event of a refusal under these circumstances, no refund will be issued


Prenatal Intake Form

All pregnant clients are required to complete a Prenatal Intake Form before services are rendered. This form must include the following:

  • Client's full name, address, and contact information

  • Stage of pregnancy (weeks/months)

  • Due date

  • Any pregnancy-related complications or conditions

  • Current medications

  • Primary care physician or OB-GYN name

  • Doctor's phone number and office address

  • Emergency contact name and phone number

  • Client signature and date

Failure to complete the intake form in full will result in the delay or refusal of services.


Services During Pregnancy

Out of abundant caution, if you are pregnant, Thai Wellness Massage can only provide prenatal massage. No other massage services will be offered during your pregnancy, regardless of the stage.


Medical Clearance

We strongly encourage all pregnant clients to consult with their doctor before scheduling a prenatal massage.

Thai Wellness Massage reserves the right to request a medical clearance letter from your healthcare provider confirming that massage therapy is safe for you. If a medical letter is requested and not provided, Thai Wellness Massage reserves the right to decline services.


Postpartum Return

After delivery, clients may return for massage services based on the following general guidelines:

  • Vaginal birth (no complications): You may return as soon as you feel comfortable, typically within 1–2 weeks after delivery, with your doctor's approval

  • Cesarean section (C-section): We recommend waiting at least 4–6 weeks after delivery before returning, and only once cleared by your healthcare provider

Please Note: These are general guidelines. Every client's recovery is different. Thai Wellness Massage strongly recommends consulting your doctor before scheduling any post-delivery massage. Medical clearance may be requested before services are rendered.

Once cleared, clients are welcome to book any massage service appropriate to their stage of postpartum recovery.


The health and safety of our clients and their babies is our highest priority. Thank you for helping us provide you with the best possible care.

Arrival to Your Massage Treatment

We recommend you arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time find parking, complete the appropriate client form (new clients), change and prepare for the service. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule reducing your original treatment time.

Late Arrival Policy

All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule therefore we regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.

No Show Policy
At Thai Wellness Massage , we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service.
Nudeness Prohibited
We require all customers to maintain clothes on during the massage. At no time should a customer become nude or naked. Underwear is the minimum amount  of clothing accepted in any and all massage sessions. Thai Wellness Massage and its employees,  maintain the right to refuse providing service to customer(s) if they become or/are nude/naked.
Informed Consent
Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.
Scope of Practice
Thai Wellness Massage therapists are Massachusetts’s licensed professionals and held to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association.

 

Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.
Massage Therapists do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. Our therapist may refer you to a medical doctor for diagnosis or treatment. Our services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical attention for specific conditions. Please refer to a medical doctor for any specific condition which requires medical treatment.
Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries
Our Massage Therapists are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, work longer on an area or move on if you request it.
The client may choose to: leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, stop massage at any time.
The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. The clients will be kept informed of the area to be massaged.
Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.
Confidentiality and Conversation
We treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, we will not discuss your visit with anybody outside of our staff without your express permission.
You may choose to talk not talk during the massage. Conversation will be guided by the client’s direction

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available for purchase at our website or in person.
Gift Certificate Policies
  1. A Gift Card can be redeemed to cover a portion or the total cost of a massage service.
  2. The customer must pay the difference in cash or credit card for services exceeding the amount on a gift card.
  3. Customers can only use one Gift Card per person to cover a portion or the total cost of a massage session.
  4. Multiple Gift Cards cannot be stacked and redeemed to cover the cost of a massage service. 
  5. Gift cards cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.
  6. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
  7. Gift cards are nonrefundable.
  8. Gift cards are honored when presented before the start of the massage session.
  9. Thai Wellness Massage is not responsible for lost gift cards.
Gift Certificate Recovery
If seeking to recover a gift certificate that was purchased in store or online, please email admin@thaiwellnessmassage.net.
Resolutions are typically resolved in 72 hours and not at the time of service.
Recovery efforts are best effort and successful recovery results are not guaranteed.
If the gift certificate is not available at the time of service, the customer is responsible for the full service amount. 
Cash Discount Policy

To receive the cash discount, full payment must be made in cash at the time of checkout.

  • Debit cards are not considered cash and do not qualify for the discount

  • If a deposit was made by credit card, it will be refunded back to that card — the full amount must then be paid in cash to receive the discount

  • No partial cash payments qualify — all funds must be cash

  • Prenatal massage services do not qualify for the cash discount

Payment Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

Thai Wellness Massage accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Cards (all major cards accepted)

  • US Cash

  • Gift Certificates

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay


When Payment is Due

Payment is due at the time services are rendered (checkout).


Cash Discount Policy

To receive the cash discount, full payment must be made in US cash at the time of checkout.

  • Debit cards are not considered cash and do not qualify for the discount

  • If a deposit was made by credit card, it will be refunded back to that card — the full amount must then be paid in cash to receive the discount

  • No partial cash payments qualify — all funds must be cash

  • Prenatal massage services do not qualify for the cash discount


New Client Policy

At the discretion of management, new clients may be required to pay in full before services are rendered.

A credit card or gift certificate is required to guarantee a reservation. You will not be charged unless you cancel late or miss your appointment. At checkout, you may pay using any accepted payment method.
